The Mornington Peninsula is smashing it in the kid friendly cafe stakes these days and it seems it’s just getting better and better!

New kid on the block, Oasis Pop Up is the perfect place to catch up with friends and try out some old faves with an exotic twist. From the creators of the wildly popular Oasis Bakery in Murrumbeena, famous for their Middle Eastern inspired flavours this new pop up edition will not disappoint the tastebuds.

My 3 year old was taken in by the quirky and bright interior and quickly made his way over to the kids corner. This is one of the very few cafes where I have been able to sit for five minutes and chat to a friend without the toddler tantrums. The hardest part of my visit was deciding what to order from the amazing menu! Who could possibly decide between breakfast tacos with spiced beans, grilled halloumi & hommus and Archie’s Avocado that comes with Persian feta and smoked beetroot. FOOD HEAVEN. Let’s just say I’ll be back to try out the rest of the menu!

And it doesn’t stop there. There are big plans underway for the current site with a restaurant, cafe, food market, function room, gardens and even a petting zoo in the pipeline.

For me, Oasis Pop Up is the perfect trifecta; kid friendly, great atmosphere and the food is just off the charts.
