Today feels like a Queenstown, New Zealand sort of day to me. I am dreaming of the beautiful lake, scrumptious food and tantalising wine. Right now I am picturing myself back there enjoying the sights and sounds. I’d be sitting at Pier 19 Restaurant which has a spectacular view across the lake and up to the snow capped mountains. I’m snuggled up in a blanket (they provide them at Pier 19 – a lovely touch) drinking an amazing Cloudy Bay Sav Blanc, devouring a delicious venison burger and watching the majestic TSS Earnslaw steam boat pull out of the wharf.
Ahhh, such lovely memories of many afternoons enjoying a meal with my family and watching the world go by. Queenstown is an amazing family destination with so much for everyone to do and the view from wherever you are standing is simply stunning.
