Its that time of year again where I feel like I’m constantly dreaming of jetting off to some wonderful location for a couple of days of pure R&R. Right now, I can’t seem to shake the Margaret River from my mind. The laid back vibe, spectacular beaches and who could forget the wineries?! Kid friendly wineries too! Our last trip there was a huge success and I’ve found myself trying to think of how we can manage to get back.
Here were my favourite Kid Friendly Wineries from our last trip (you can see my original post HERE )
Cheeky Monkey Brewery and Killerby Wines – We had a cruisy Sunday lunch here. There was a band playing and the kids absolutely loved the park. The park is fully enclosed and has a variety of equipment. The food was casual but tasty and the whole place had a great vibe.
Laurance Winery – I blogged about this place previously but it was such a highlight of our trip I had to mention it again. You can have lunch outside under the shade of the trees and supervise the kids playing at the park. The food was fabulous and they do a “take away” wine tasting where you can purchase 6 samples for a small fee and take it back to your table. This winery has a beautiful ambiance and the view across the lake is spectacular.
Aravina Estate – This lovely winery is a little more upmarket. We had a beautiful gourmet lunch here overlooking the gardens. The kids loved exploring the vintage hotrod collection and there is also a huge enclosed park for the kids to play in.
I *think* I can convince hubby to go back again soon. What’s your favourite kid friendly winery in the Margaret River?
