I am always on the lookout for cool toys and activities for my little adventurers to take away with us. I recently came across these which I’m sure my boys will love:

1) Globe balls by Seedling – the kids can learn about the world or simply play with this cool earth ball. My boys love balls in any shape or size so I know these will be a hit. I like to pack versatile toys that can also go in the pool/bath/ocean so then there is no need to pack loads of toys for the kids. These globes are $4.95 online at Larkstore.

2) Piccolo magnet book from Tiger Tribe – this a great small activity the kids can do on the plane or when you need to keep them entertained while eating out. I like to have a few alternatives other than the iPad to engage them and these are awesome. Tiger Tribe have a great range of magnetic toys and this one is $9.95 from Urbanbaby.

3) Hand Puppet Skins available at Coles from $1.76 – I found these cute hand puppet stickers at my local Coles and thought they’d be a great way to entertain the kids on a long flight.

4) Magnetic Snakes and Ladders by Purple Cow – I can’t wait to try this game out on the plane with my biggest adventurer! It looks like lots of fun and it’s nice and compact to fit in your carry on bag. You can get these online for $9.95 from Entropy.

I’d love to hear about your favourite travel toys – feel free to share your great finds with me!
