As my biggest adventurer is getting older, it is becoming more important to try and schedule our travel for when school is on holiday break. We have in the past taken him out for a couple of weeks here and there but my worry is that if we continue to do this he will miss out on valuable schooling. The downside is that travel is generally more expensive during these periods and busier as well. I also believe that the things the kids learn while we are away exploring the world are valuable life lessons. What works for your family?
