In the past year I’ve been ticked so many things off my bucket list, shared many amazing moments with loved ones and uncovered family friendly treasures all over the globe. The real highlight for me was exploring Japan and pushing myself right outside my comfort zone – and loving every second of it!
Now that 2015 is well and truly done, I thought I’d take a moment to reflect and share with you the 5 most popular My Little Adventures posts for 2015.

1) KID FRIENDLY WINERIES ON THE MORNINGTON PENINSULA

This is by far the most popular post of the year! And why wouldn’t it be when the gorgeous Mornington Peninsula is involved. I’m lucky enough to call the Peninsula home and due to its proximity to Melbourne it’s a gem that people keep coming back again and again to discover. The wineries are simply the jewel in the crown and make it a worthwhile visit. Even better when you can keep the kids entertained!

2) SURVIVING HOTEL ROOMS WITH LITTLE KIDS

Hotel rooms and little kids often don’t mix well. There’s the glass coffee tables, the cramped quarters, the mini bar, the ridiculously high balcony… ARGHHHH! Doesn’t sound very relaxing does it? Fear not: with my tips on how to keep your sanity and make the most of your getaway you’ll be relaxing by the pool in no time.

3) FREE TO BE ME

Everyone needs a little freedom now and then and I’m no exception. I’m a mum of two energetic little boys. A wife to a crazy busy Entreprener. A sister, a daughter, a friend, a gym buddy. And sometimes, SOMETIMES I get to just be me.

4) FAMILY TRAVEL FAILS

That moment when you look down and discover your adorable baby has vomited/pooped/wee’d/slobbered on/mashed a biscuit into your white dress. I love travelling with my boys but it’s not always smooth sailing! I hope these have you chuckling away – lucky I can laugh about it now ☺️

5) UNEXPECTED KINDNESS

Travelling can be super stressful so when a stranger takes time out of their day to brighten someone else’s – it’s pure magic. And believe me it does happen! Maybe next time you’re standing at the luggage carousel surrounded by chaos, a kind word or a helping hand to the mum who is wrangling tired toddlers could make her day (or year even!).

I loved taking you along on my travels in 2016 and look forward to another adventure filled year ahead!
