I stumbled across this article on a news site yesterday and I just had to share. It’s about a couple who after reading the book “The 4 Hour Work Week” by Tim Ferris, decided that they love travel so much that they would restructure their lives so they could travel all year round. READ IT HERE
I was lucky enough to see Tim Ferris give a Q&A session at a recent conference in Sydney. His attitude towards life is infectious and it’s hard for his enthusiasm not to rub off on you. It got me thinking about travel and the 4 hour work week. What is it that my husband and I want most out of life? Right now we are loving travelling around with our little adventurers and I think if we could do more of it we would. There is a slight problem for us though, being that our 4 year old will start school next year. It is one of our dreams to take 6 months off and sail around Australia (Whitsunday’s would be perfect!) but we would have to take responsibility for our sons education. I would love to hear from other parents about their experiences with home schooling their kids. Would you take your kids out of school for an extended period of time to go on an amazing adventure?
